How To Make a Margarita Flight at Home

Once you've picked your favorite recipe for each flavor from the list above, grab 6 small cocktail glasses, make sure you have some ice and get mixing!

Don't have a cocktail shaker? Use alternatives like a mason jar with a lid, or a cup with a tight lid. Can't find anything that will work? Just ditch the shaker all together, pour the ingredients over ice, stir and enjoy! Trust us, they will taste just as good.

You'll need 6 glasses for your cocktail flight. We recommend using small, rocks glasses. While you don't need your glasses to match, it does look pretty cute if you're looking to create a pinterest-worthy moment. We used the most adorable mini rocks glasses they aren't to small, but aren't too big, so you can enjoy each flavor without feeling like you didn't get enough or have too much leftover.

Using a board for your flight is also optional, but if you have one lying around your house, that is a great option! Use a wooden cutting board or serving tray to create a cute, instagram-worthy moment. We used this super light and inexpensive Natural Woven Tray with Handles we got from Target's Hearth and Home with Magnolia collection. The great thing about this tray is that it has little handles and is super light weight making it easy to transport from the bar out to the patio or the pool.

Garnishes are optional, yes... but, we highly recommend using them! They add a little extra flare and take your DIY margarita flight to the next level. Using garnishes will elevate your cocktails and create texture and add a little extra freshness.

Have fun with it and let us know what you think! Follow us on instagram and tag us in your margarita flights @mixlycocktailco.
