Four Saint Patrick's Day Inspired Cocktail and Mocktail Recipes

1. Feeling Lucky (Mocktail)

This bright and flavorful mocktail will delight you with earthy notes of Mixly Pineapple Basil Lime paired with a refreshing and hydrating pressed coconut water. To give it a little extra oomph, we’ve added the Jalisco 55 Tequila alternative from Spiritless which gives you all those “feelin’ lucky” tequila vibes without the alcohol!

Recipe:

1 oz Mixly Pineapple Basil
1 oz Pressed Coconut Water
2 oz Jalisco 55 NA Tequila

1. Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice
2. Strain into a double rocks glass filled with fresh ice
3. Garnish with a basil sprig

2. Pot O’ Gold

You’ll feel like you’ve found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow every time you sip this creamy and delicious cocktail. The combination of heavy cream, Mixly Pineapple Basil Lime, and Irish Whiskey will charm you with its smooth texture and citrusy flavor. After shaking, fine strain into a chilled glass for an extra velvety cocktail.

2 oz Mixly Pineapple Basil
1.5 oz Aged Rum (we used plantation) or Irish Whiskey
0.5 oz Heavy Cream

1. Combine ingredients and shake with ice
2. Double strain into a glass
3. Garnish with a pineapple wedge

3. Shamrock Sour:

A delectable twist on our classic Mixly Rosemary Lemon Honey Whiskey Sour which uses a rich and flavorful Irish Whiskey which is known for its smoothness and drinkability. Thoroughly shaking this cocktail is key to getting a nice layer of foam at the top of your glass—seriously, when you think you’re done shaking, shake some more. Finish it off with a 4-leaf shamrock made with Angostura Bitters.

Recipe:

4 oz Mixly Rosemary Lemon Honey
2 oz Irish Whiskey
Angostura Bitters

1. Combine Mixly and whiskey and shake vigorously with ice
2. Double Strain into a chilled nick and nora glass
3. Add 4 drops of Angostura bitters and use a pick to draw a shamrock

4. Emerald Irish 75

Not a big beer or whiskey fan? We’ve got you covered. At Mixly, we love our French 75 variations, and our newest riff will not disappoint. The base of this cocktail is a delicious mix of a botanical gin and Mixly Cucumber Mint Lime shaken with fresh mint leaves for a cool and rejuvenating effect. Top it off with your favorite sparkling wine and the result is a bubbly and refreshing cocktail that resembles sparkling, emerald green tide pools and is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Recipe:

1 oz Botanical Gin (we used Uncle Vals)
1.5 oz Mixly Cucumber Mint Lime
3 oz Prosecco
5 Mint Leaves

1. Add Mixly, gin and mint leaves to a cocktail shaker with ice
2. Shake until thoroughly chilled
3. Double strain into a champagne flute (we love these from Viski)
4. Top with prosecco
5. Garnish with a cucumber ribbon and mint sprig
